Discovery Flight
Whether you’re dreaming of a career as a pilot or simply curious about what it’s like to fly, a Discovery Flight is the first step into the world of aviation! Unlike a typical sightseeing flight, a Discovery Flight puts you in the pilot’s seat! Explore the cockpit, learn basic maneuvers, and discover what it's like to be the Pilot in Command. Under the guidance of a certified flight instructor, you’ll take the controls, feel the responsiveness of the aircraft, and gain a true appreciation for what it means to be a pilot!
You'll join one of our flight instructors for a preflight briefing, preflight inspection of the aircraft, and then take to the skies! You'll depart from KCHN (Wauchula Municipal Airport), see Sarasota, Bradenton, Tampa Bay and the Sunshine Skyway Bridge as you explore aviation and return back to KCHN during your 45-minute flight.
