Weather and flight time:
- Fog, rain, stormy conditions and other weather conditions can create a less than spectacular experience. If the pilot decides to cancel the flight due to weather, you have the option to reschedule the flight or a full refund.
- Flight times and routes may vary depending on flight safety, weather, and ATC control.
- Please feel free to re-confirm your reservation within 72 hours of your flight, we will advise you on the expected weather and other pertinent information to the flight
Our minimum weather conditions are as follows:
- Cloud bottoms at 1500 and visibility at least 8 miles.
Appropriate Clothing:
- Please dress comfortably with closed toed shoes. Aircraft are like small cars with heating and fresh air vents.
Doors-off/Aerial photo:
Flying without doors may be extra fun and exciting but it is very windy and much louder for all passengers. The experience is like driving down the freeway with all your windows down at 80 MPH or more. Air is much thicker than most people realize and putting your arms or objects into the airflow when we are traveling at 100 MPH can yank your arm backward and break it against the door frame if you are not ready for it.
- No Hats
- No Loose items (Camera covers, mic covers (muffs), long wires)
- No Long loose dresses
- No High heels, sandals or loose shoes
- Long hair is required to be tied back in most cases.
- All cameras, gear and phones must have a lanyard to secure them.
- Hot days, dress appropriately – It’s almost always slightly cooler when flying
- COLD days, the wind chill is significant so dress warmly. Wind jackets, gloves and beanies are best to keep you warm. It can get down to 40 degrees and lower with wind chill, so be ready for that.
Passenger Weight Restrictions:
Due to the nature of aircraft, weight can be a limiting factor. If you entered your weights accurately there should not be any problem.
- You will be weighted at the time of check-in to verify your stated weights during the booking process and if there is a weight issue, your options will be discussed at that time with our staff.
- The maximum per-passenger seat rating is 250 lbs. This would be weighed on a scale with all your carry-on, gear, clothing etc.
- We are not able to carry any passenger over 250 lbs. due to FAA regulations in any of our aircraft.
- Any child must be at least 35lbs to fly
- Please keep in mind that during booking we collect your stated weights and if this weight is different than when you check-in, your flight could be cancelled if over the limits.
Cancellation Policy:
- Weather, ATC, FAA or other unexpected delays or cancellations are not subject to cancellation fees. If you arrive willing and able and we just cannot fly, there will be no charges.
- All cancellations or changes require you to talk with a live person, the use of email is not satisfactory. Please call. (941) 313-7510
- All bookings are required to be paid in full at the time of booking.
- Any cancellation is charged a 10% booking fee at the time of refund
- Less than 3 days’ notice - Customer cancellations or changes with less than 72 hours notice from time of departure receive a refund less a 25% cancellation fee.
- 24 hour cancellations or NO-SHOW - No refund for cancellations within 24 hours, no-show, or late arrivals past 10 minutes from the time of departure. Clients who arrive over the 250lbs individual weight limit or total weight limit will be considered a cancelation within the 24 hour cancellation.
Hazardous Materials:
Passenger Search/TSA/illegal items:
All passengers and carry-on items are required by the FAA and TSA to be searched and inspected for Hazardous materials, illegal weapons and drugs. This will be a non-intrusive question and general inspection of your carry-on.
- If you have any private items, please leave them in your car. Remember that both state and Federal laws apply to aviation, and it is illegal to carry any amount of illegal drugs on board our aircraft or within the facility.
- All passengers are subject to FAA regulations pertaining to searching persons and carry-on baggage for illegal items such as guns, explosive materials, drugs or anything else deemed dangerous or illegal by the pilot.
- Carry-on items are limited by size. Anything that can lay on your lap is fine as long as it is not heavy or can cause problems to other passengers
- The FAA requires that all adult passengers bring a government-issued photo ID in order to board the aircraft.
- Remember that all aviation is controlled by the federal government and all federal laws will apply. We are bound by those laws, do not assume that because something is not illegal in this state or county that the same applies to the federal jurisdiction of the airport.
Change in Routes/ATC control:
Due to ATC, Temporary flight restrictions and other FAA restrictions and controls, your flight route may vary, encounter delays, involve shorter or longer flight times, might be discontinued, re-routed, re-scheduled, canceled or have other limitations outside our control. We appreciate your understanding and will work to resolve any conflict that may arise.
