Our Santa Cruz Tour out of the Watsonville airport takes you over California's largest Strawberry farms, then out to the coastline. Along the coast, you will find the cement boat and long beaches where you have the best chance to spot a Great White Shark. See Capitola, Surf City and the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk along with UCSC, Steamers Lane (Santa Cruz Light House) and so much more.

Clients who arrive over the 300lbs individual weight limit or total weight limit will be considered a cancelation within the 24 hour cancellation.
Passenger Weight Restrictions:

Due to the nature of aircraft, weight can be a limiting factor. If you entered your weights accurately there should not be any problem.

  • You will be weighted at the time of check-in to verify your stated weights during the booking process and if there is a weight issue, your options will be discussed at that time with our staff.
  • The maximum per-passenger seat rating is 240 lbs for the smaller R22 Helicopters and 300 lbs for airplanes or the larger R44 helicopters. This would be weighed on a scale with all your carry-on, gear, clothing etc.
  • We are not able to carry any passenger over 300 lbs. due to FAA regulations in any of our aircraft.
  • Any child must be at least 35lbs to fly
  • Please keep in mind that during booking we collect your stated weights and if this weight is different than when you check-in, your flight could be cancelled if over the limits. The longer the flight, the less passenger weight the aircraft can carry, so, please call us if any passenger is over 200 lbs. or if the group is over 500 lbs..
Weather and Operational Cancellation policy:
  • Weather, ATC, FAA or other unexpected delays or cancellations are not subject to cancellation fees. If you arrive willing and able and we just cannot fly, there will be no charges.
  • Giants games do effect our flights and require a slightly varied path.

Weather and flight time:

  • Please feel free to re-confirm your reservation within 72 hours of your flight, we will advise you on the expected weather and other pertinent information to the flight
  • Fog, rain, stormy conditions and other weather conditions can create a less than spectacular experience. If the pilot decides to cancel the flight due to weather you have the option to reschedule the flight or a full refund.
  • Flight times and routes may vary depending on flight safety, weather, and ATC control.

Our minimum weather conditions are as follows:

  • Children must be over 3 years old and weight more than 35 pounds to fly.
  • Children under 13 must be accompanied by a paying adult.
  • You must be at least 18 to fly with the doors off

If you show up and your ID does not match the payment method, you will be declined boarding and cancellation fees will apply.
Appropriate Clothing:

Helicopter/Airplane tours:

  • Please dress comfortably. Aircraft are like small cars with heating, Air conditioning, and fresh air vents. High Heels can get you into trouble, so please be ready to go barefoot if needed

Wine Tasting:

  • Our wineries request that you dress in “appropriate attire”. Consider your surroundings.
  • Most people choose to take a stroll or ATV ride around the vineyards, so closed-toe shoes are important but not mandatory. NO HIGH HEELS PLEASE, dirt roads and rough ground are inevitable.

Doors-off/Aerial photo:
Flying without doors may be extra fun and exciting but it is very windy and much louder for all passengers. The experience is like driving down the freeway with all your windows down at 80 MPH or more. Air is much thicker than most people realize and putting your arms or objects into the airflow when we are traveling at 100 MPH can yank your arm backward and break it against the door frame if you are not ready for it.

  • No Hats
  • No Loose items (Camera covers, mic covers (muffs), long wires)
  • No Long loose dresses
  • No High heels, sandals or loose shoes
  • Long hair is required to be tied back in most cases.
  • All cameras, gear and phones must have a lanyard to secure them.
  • Hot days, dress appropriately – It’s almost always slightly cooler when flying
  • COLD days, the wind chill is significant so dress warmly. Wind jackets, gloves and beanies are best to keep you warm. It can get down to 40 degrees and lower with wind chill, so be ready for that.
  • In the event you do not have the appropriate dress, we will do our best to accommodate but if you must come back due to the cold, there is no refund.
Gift Purchases:
  • Gift are for the cash value at the time of the purchase, if prices rise, the difference will need to be paid before the flight can be conducted.
  • If purchased as a gift, please contact us at 831-763-2244 to book your flight.

Hazardous Materials:

The FAA and TSA require that we check all carry-on luggage in accordance with Federal regulations. Please be aware of these limitations to what you can and can not carry on our aircraft. Any items found to be in violation will need to be removed from your person and luggage prior to boarding.

For a complete and current list of items that you can and can not carry please visit these two websites -
https://www.faa.gov/hazmat/packsafe/
TSA - https://www.tsa.gov/travel/security-screening/whatcanibring/all

Passenger Search/TSA/illegal items:

All passengers and carry-on items are required by the FAA and TSA to be searched and inspected for Hazardous materials, illegal weapons and drugs. This will be a non-intrusive question and general inspection of your carry-on.

  • If you have any private items, please leave them in your car. Remember that both state and Federal laws apply to aviation, and it is illegal to carry any amount of illegal drugs on board our aircraft or within the facility.
  • All passengers are subject to FAA regulations pertaining to searching persons and carry-on baggage for illegal items such as guns, explosive materials, drugs or anything else deemed dangerous or illegal by the pilot.
  • Carry-on items are limited by size. Anything that can lay on your lap is fine as long as it is not heavy or can cause problems to other passengers
  • The FAA requires that all adult passengers bring a government-issued photo ID in order to board the aircraft.
  • Remember that all aviation is controlled by the federal government and all federal laws will apply. We are bound by those laws, do not assume that because something is not illegal in this state or county that the same applies to the federal jurisdiction of the airport.
Change in Routes/ATC control:
Due to Giants and other stadium Games, ATC, presidential Temporary flight restrictions and other FAA restrictions and controls, your flight route may vary, encounter delays, involve shorter or longer flight times, might be discontinued, re-routed, re-scheduled, canceled or have other limitations outside our control. We appreciate your understanding and will work to resolve any conflict that may arise. In no event shall a full refund be issued after departure for any reason. Our flights are based on typical flight times and any associated refund will be offered based on the remaining flight time you did not experience in the event your flight is shortened by more than 6 minutes.
