FAA Flight Review

Stay current and ensure the continued safe exercise of your pilot privileges with a comprehensive FAA Flight Review, as required under 14 CFR 61.56.

The purpose of a flight review is to provide a regular evaluation of a pilot’s aeronautical knowledge and flight proficiency. This is not a test, but rather a structured training event and proficiency-based exercise designed to refresh your skills and knowledge in today’s increasingly complex operating environment.

Your instructor will tailor the review to your specific needs and aircraft operations, ensuring that you demonstrate the safe and competent exercise of your pilot certificate privileges. While regulatory minimums require at least 1 hour of ground training and 1 hour of flight training, additional time may be necessary to ensure proficiency and safety.

Prior to the session, please review our website for details on how the session will be conducted and complete the Pilot's Aeronautical Experience Form at the bottom of the page. Failing to complete this form will result in delays or possible fees.

What to Expect

  • Review of current general operating and flight rules under Part 91

  • Ground training to address key regulations, procedures, and operational considerations

  • Flight maneuvers and procedures selected at the instructor’s discretion to verify safe proficiency

  • A collaborative process where expectations are discussed in advance, with training customized to your experience and goals

Important Notes & Disclaimer

  • No Refunds: All sales for this service are final once it begins. No refunds will be issued, regardless of outcome, once the flight review has begun. No-shows and cancellations within 12 hours will be charged 100% of the fee. Reschedules outside of the pilot's control are free at any time.

  • Endorsement Not Guaranteed: Successful completion of the flight review and the issuance of a flight review endorsement are contingent upon demonstrating proficiency in both knowledge and flight tasks, as determined by the instructor.

  • Additional Training May Be Required: If proficiency cannot be demonstrated during the scheduled session, further training will be necessary and billed at the instructor’s standard hourly rate for both ground and flight time.

  • This session satisfies the FAA’s 24-calendar-month flight review requirement once proficiency is demonstrated and the instructor issues the endorsement.

  • Duration may vary depending on the pilot’s skill level, experience, and type of operations reviewed.
