Welcome to Hewison Aviation! We are excited to welcome you to our flight school community.
Before you can start training, you will need to set up your account in Flight Circle and provide us with some documentation.
Please follow the steps below to get started:
- Your availability to conduct training (preferred times and days of the week).
- Emergency Contact Name and Phone Number.
- Photo of your Driver's License (Front).
- Photo of your Driver's License (Back).
- Photo of your Passport or your US Birth Certificate (Front and Back)
- Photo of yourself for your profile picture in Flight Circle.
- If you have a current FAA Medical and/or Pilot Certificate, please include:
- Photo of FAA Medical Certificate
- Photo of Pilot Certificates (if any) Front
- Photo of Pilot Certificates (Back)
- Your IACRA FTN #
Once you complete the requirements above, we will send you our Aircraft Rental Agreement and our Aviation Operations Manual to the email you entered into Flight Circle at the time of payment. You will receive and email via DocuSign for your electronic signature. Enter "N/A" for fields in the rental agreement for items that you may not be able to complete, for example, renters insurance or medical dates.
After electronically signing your contract, the school will assign an instructor who will reach out to you to coordinate scheduling your first lesson.

Terms and Conditions of Enrollment
Definitions: Hewison Aviation (the “School”). The “student” is the participant in a structured training program. The “FAA” refers to the Federal Aviation Administration.
Minimum Hours: The hours provided for in the tuition charges listed are the minimum course requirements. The student fully understands that he/she may be required to take additional instruction in order to meet the proficiency standards required to satisfactorily complete the FAA written or practical test(s).
Terms: The school agrees to provide student with resources, facilities, and adequate instruction to complete this course of study in order to qualify him/her for the FAA written and/or the completion of a given Stage in accordance with your Army COOL approval.
Prerequisites: The student must be approved by the Army and have their initial tuition deposit paid for by the Army prior to enrolling.
Aviation Operations Manual (AOM): An electronic copy of the school’s AOM will be provided to student at the time of enrollment via Docusign and can be found on Hewison Aviation’s student tracking website, Flight Circle, under Dashboard/Files. Student shall follow all requirements of the most current version of the Hewison Aviation AOM.
Advanced Credit: The school is restricted by FAA regulation from granting more than fifty (50%) percent of the course requirements as advanced credit at the time of enrollment when the flight time was logged at an FAA certificated Part 141 Pilot School; or twenty-five (25%) percent if the flight time was logged under Part 61 of the Federal Aviation Regulations.
Tuition and Additional Expenses: The student acknowledges that the written and practical tests are a requirement for obtaining a pilot certificate or rating. The written exam fee is approximately $165.00; the administration fee for the practical test is approximately $600.00; and the aircraft rental costs for the exam are at the hourly rates specified on the school's website (https://hewisonaviation.com/index.php/gift/rates-pricing/). The student can expect an expense for charts, maps and publications, and any training that is not covered by the Army COOL tuition deposit. The approximate fees for additional expenses are identified in the student's add on selected herein.. The student student will not be allowed to continue training on a debit balance or if student's account falls below $300.00.
Termination: The school may discontinue training for reasons of safety, misconduct, unsatisfactory progress, irregular attendance, or violations of school requirements or FAA regulations. Any unused funds received from the Army Credentialing Assistance Program will be returned to the Army in the event a student is terminated.
Cancellation: A student may cancel training or voluntarily terminate by completing and emailing the “Notification of Intent to Withdraw” form available from the General Manager to invoices@hewisonaviation.com. Any unused funds received from the Army Credentialing Assistance Program will be returned to the Army. A student is entitled to a refund as stipulated in that the school’s AOM.
Refunds: Upon termination or cancellation, the student is entitled to a refund as stipulated in school’s AOM. Books and supplies may not be returned for a refund. The student must complete and sign a request for refund, any monies due the student will be refunded within sixty (60) days. Any unused funds received from the Army Credentialing Assistance Program will be returned to the Army prior to the student receiving any refunds.
Change of Circumstances: The student is required to contact Hewison Aviation via email at info@hewisonaviation.com immediately upon change of address, telephone number or financial circumstances. This includes, but is not limited to employment, housing, visa status, etc..
Time of Completion: The student has 365 days to complete their training from the date the Army pays the student's deposit. If a student does not complete their training within the time stipulated they may be required to refund the Army for the training and any unused funds will be returned to the Army.
Student acknowledge that they have read the foregoing agreement and consent to the terms therein.
