If you currently hold a Private Pilot Certificate (Airplane Single Engine Land) and are instrument rated and do not hold a commercial pilot certificate, you can do the initial commercial in a multi engine aircraft. Upon completion of your training and satisfactory check ride, you will hold a Commercial Pilot Certificate: Airplane Multi Engine Land; however, will have the private in a single engine with instrument. All of the requirements of FAR 61.129 (B) will be covered.
Prior to your training, you must pass the FAA Commercial Airplane knowledge exam.
This course fee includes 20 hours of training in the Piper Seneca 3 (to meet the requirements of FAR 61.129 (B), the airplane for the check ride, the study materials, and ground instruction needed to complete the course.
This course is extensive and requires 5 days of training. Checkride is scheduled for day 6.
***If you already meet ALL of the aeronautical experience requirements of FAR 61.129 (B), the course price is less (call us to discuss). This enrollment includes the study materials, the necessary ground and flight training, as well as the aircraft rental for the checkride. The examiners fee is $600 and is not included.
The hours provided for in the tuition charges listed herein are the minimum requirements. The student fully understands that he/she may be required to take additional instruction in order to meet the proficiency standards required to satisfactorily complete the FAA requirements.
