After your briefing, join the instructor for a hands-on inspection of the aircraft. This is your chance to learn about the essentials of aircraft safety and the pre-flight checks that every pilot performs. Understand what keeps an airplane flying, and get ready to step into the pilot’s seat!

Take the Controls During Your In-Flight Experience

Once airborne, the real fun begins. Under the careful supervision of your instructor, you’ll take the controls of the aircraft. Learn to maneuver through climbs, descents, and turns, while soaking in stunning views of local landmarks like the Hudson River and the Catskill Mountains.

Land Safely and Reflect on Your Flight

Your instructor will guide you through the landing process, providing a safe and smooth return to the ground. After landing, a debrief session helps you reflect on your experience, ask further questions, and discuss next steps should you wish to continue flying.
