This is an actual first lesson to give your budding aviator friend and loved ones the opportunity to discover what will be involved in learning how to fly.
A personalized electronic certificate is included on request. Please add the name of your recipient in notes and who the certificate is from. We will contact you if there are any questions. Passenger addons are available!
To keep your gift a secret, we will initially use an account with your name but update it to the recipient's when they schedule their flight.
Discovery flights are typically scheduled on Saturdays but can be otherwise accommodated on a space available status. If a flight must be rescheduled due to weather, maintenance, etc., we will open the full schedule relative to the student and instructor's accessibility.

This 30-35 minute flight is an actual first lesson for future pilots to discover the thrill of being at the controls of one of our Cessna Skyhawks with an FAA certified flight instructor including the takeoff and training maneuvers. It also gives them the opportunity to find out about everything involved in learning how to fly. If they just want to tick off a life experience and see their house from a bird's eye view, DAS can do it!
