Bring your family along for an adventure they will never forget. Depart from the Jackson Hole Airport heading east towards the Gros Ventre (pronounced "Grow Vont") Mountain Range. Fly over one of the largest landslides in human history and hear about the catastrophe that that underlies the beauty of Slide Lake. Continue east past the famous Sheep Mountain and understand why locals have dubbed it “the Sleeping Indian.” On the way back towards the Tetons, keep your eyes peeled for bison, elk, mountain goats, and perhaps even the elusive gray wolf in the untamed canyons of the Gros Ventre. As you cross the valley, look down on the town of Jackson nestled up to Snow King Mountain. Throughout the flight, your pilot will weave a narrative of the legendary fur trappers and their conflicts and friendships with the Native Americans.
