Take the first step into flight with a Kilroy Flight Academy Discovery Flight from the WestLEX Terminal at Blue Grass Airport in Lexington, Kentucky.
This introductory experience includes approximately 1 hour of flight time in a modern Bristell aircraft, plus about 30 minutes with a Kilroy flight instructor before and/or after the flight. It is designed for first-time flyers, future students, and anyone curious about what flight training feels like.
You’ll experience Central Kentucky from a whole new perspective while learning what makes light-sport flight training approachable, efficient, and fun. Your instructor will walk you through what to expect, introduce the aircraft, answer your questions, and help you understand possible next steps if you decide flight training is right for you.
This experience is limited to one passenger. Passenger weight must not exceed 210 pounds. Flight time, route, and scheduling are subject to instructor availability, aircraft availability, weather, maintenance, airport operations, and safety considerations.
