What to Expect

The experience splits your time between ground instruction and actual flight time, guided by a professional flight instructor:

• On the Ground: You will start with an introduction to aviation fundamentals, covering aircraft operations, basic safety procedures, and flight planning. You will even help the instructor perform a real preflight inspection of the airplane.

• In the Air: You will head up for a 30-minute flight where you get a hands-on opportunity to handle the controls, try basic maneuvers, and observe a landing.

• The Scenic View: As you "Fly OZ," you will take a local area tour with fantastic photography opportunities. Your flight route can include soaring right over the massive, winding shoreline of Beaver Lake, giving you a spectacular bird's-eye view of its clear blue waters and surrounding limestone cliffs.
