Notices are bulletins from your organization that you need to read and acknowledge. A red number on the Safety menu (or the Notices menu) shows how many notices you have not acknowledged yet.
Reading and acknowledging a notice
- Go to Safety > Notices. Notices you still need to acknowledge have a red exclamation mark. Ones you have acknowledged have a green check.
- Click a notice to read it.
- Click I have read and acknowledge this notice.
Notices and reservations
You cannot create a reservation or dispatch a flight while you have unacknowledged notices that apply to it. Some notices apply only to specific aircraft.
If you try, a window lists the notices you still need to read. Read them and click I have read and acknowledge. Your reservation or dispatch then continues automatically.
Notices that come back
Some notices must be acknowledged again on a schedule, for example every year. When that happens the notice shows as unread again and you need to acknowledge it before your next reservation or dispatch. If your organization updates a notice, you may also be asked to acknowledge it again.
