Notices are bulletins your members must read and acknowledge. Until a member acknowledges every notice that applies to them, they cannot create a reservation or dispatch a flight. Maintenance and Unavailable reservations are not blocked.
The account owner and administrators can create and manage notices.
Creating a notice
Go to Safety > Create Notice.
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Title | Required. |
| Body | Required. Plain text. Line breaks are kept. |
| Category | Safety Bulletin, Operational Change, Compliance, Seasonal or General. |
| Priority | Normal or Urgent. Urgent notices are shown with a red label. |
| Aircraft | Optional. Choose one or more aircraft to require the notice only for reservations in those aircraft. Leave blank to require it for all reservations. |
| Target Audience | All users, or uncheck All users and choose specific groups. |
| Auto-Reset Acknowledgements | Check Enable auto-reset and choose Monthly (30 days), Quarterly (90 days), Semi-annual (180 days) or Annual (365 days). |
| Expiration Date | Optional. The notice stops applying after this date. |
Click Create Notice. The notice is active right away.
Auto-reset
Use auto-reset for items members should review on a schedule, such as standard operating procedures or seasonal briefings. When the interval has passed since the notice was published or last reset, every member’s acknowledgement is cleared and they must acknowledge it again. Members are not emailed when this happens. The notice shows as unread and blocks reservations again.
The interval is a fixed number of days and applies to everyone at the same time.
Editing a notice
Go to Safety > Notices and click the pencil icon, or open the notice and click Edit Notice. When editing you can also:
- Uncheck Active to take the notice down.
- Change the Publish Date.
- Check Reset all acknowledgements on save so every member must acknowledge it again.
Editing a notice does not clear existing acknowledgements unless you check Reset all acknowledgements on save. If you make an important change to a notice, check this box.
Deactivating a notice
On Safety > Notices, click the red trash icon to deactivate a notice, or the green check icon to activate it again. Deactivated notices are kept and can still be seen by administrators.
Creating a notice from a safety report
Open a safety report and click Create Notice. The title and body are filled in from the report and the category is set to Safety Bulletin. Edit the text as needed before you publish it.
